Thanks for stopping by! I'm here to simply share a little of this, and a little of that. Comments are certainly welcome, and oh yeah...don't forget to TIP THE MAID!

Update at ClixSence
Well, I've been with ClixSence for a week now, and have been clicking Ads like crazy, and playing the game there called ClixGrid....it's a random grid of squares that has a prize behind one of the squares, and you can win up to $10.00. I have been rejected for every Survey I've tried. Lol! I have won twice on ClixGrid - .25 cents the first time, and then won extra turns (clicks) so, that was pretty good. Tonight i tried every Survey offered, and finally got to take one so, my grand total is $3.30. Lmao! I know it sounds silly, but it's $3.00! We'll see what next week brings. *grin* Also have a couple of referrals now and that helps too. Thank you!
I did get to the Dump yesterday (thank god!) I had so much garbage that I didn't have room for the Recycling! Next time. Bye for now.

What time is it?
Time for one of my poems!
My writings (when I was writing) are not exact or literal (well, the majority) They are mostly, simply, greatly, absolutely, very, genuinely my imagination. Like abstract art.
Really. *wink*
Heart of a Poet
I give voice to calico colors
And glass that doesn't break
Creating objects, which fly and spin
Temporarily awake
Eye see the possibilities
A poem swiftly lets go
Unable to be arrested
While pending its plateau
To freeze a moment; Feed the spirit
Insist the lightning start
Mere words begin to sing and swell
I am a poet at heart

Worked a little outside today
Always more to do before Winter. We have a very, and I mean verrry old hot tub outside. The poor thing is falling apart. A couple of the jets aren't working properly, and it may actually be leaking somewhere but no matter. Lol! Time to shut it down, and today I crawled under the deck (so gross) where the pump is.....where water, leaves, and mud is, and where spiders ( is.) *grin* I had to open the valves which was easy then, dis-assemble (sp?) the computerized pump which comes apart in two places. Well, I hope it does, 'cause that's what I did! I had a hell of a time trying to take it all apart, and there's no room under there! So, there was a lot of swearing! My husband came out at one point to see how I was doing, but he turned around and went right back inside, he told me later. Lol! I finally got it, and hauled it all into the garage where it will rest till next Spring.
Gathered up all the Halloween decorations outside, plus Pumpkins and got rid of them. Had fun throwing the Pumpkins over the bank and smashing them on trees and on the ground! Lol
I cut, and spliced some wires then put them back together and got the Treble Light working which I'm getting pretty good at (splicing that is) then, filled the bird feeder up. It hangs in front of the highest window we have so, this is another tricky thing to do. I have an extension pole with a hooked metal end rigged onto it, and you have to hook the feeder onto it waaaaay up above your head. Not so bad bringing it down when it's empty, but when it's full, and you're trying to hook it back up well, that's another story. Hope you're happy birds!
I also gathered up all recycling, and garbage and took it downstairs, and tomorrow I really need to get to the Dump!
Also tomorrow I'll try and get something done in here before going back to work Wed.

Canadian warplanes launch air strikes against Islamic State militants
The Globe And Mail: Canada has made its mark on the battlefield in Iraq with CF-18 warplanes dropping their first bombs in this country’s combat mission there.
Canadian fighter jets attacked Islamic State militant targets near the city of Fallujah on Sunday, Ottawa said.
It’s not clear how much damage the CF-18s caused. The military says it requires two days, until Tuesday, before it can tell Canadians what was achieved. Read More

Alrighty then! Ya know I'm not the type to want to sit back and watch other's involvement in all this, without doing something (the right thing) whatever that may be, but wow....
Morning!
It's bright and sunny but cold....I'll take it!
Ya know, instead of posting this morning or, should I say posting more, I've been sitting here playing the Pool Game at the bottom of the page. Lol! I'm addicted.....try it! (if the adds are running, just wait for them to be done) You have to see how many balls you can get in before the time runs out, and then try, and better your score. I've always been a sucker for Pool.

Fall back, Spring ahead - Clocks go back an hour, before you go to bed!
Woke up to a snowy morning and, cold as......sheeeit! Cold sheeeit! If I think this is cold....I'm in trouble.
When I got to work, the maintenance guy came in, and I asked him if he could fix the weather. Ha!
Well, we had some Oil delivered yesterday so, I had to *bleed the line* when I got home and the furnace is up and running. (and just in time.) Yes, I can do these things because I'm just so damn handy! (not) No, my husband has a disability so he can't do these things anymore.....but it's all good 'cause I'm becoming more, and more self sufficient all the time. I gotta admit though sometimes, it reeeeally gets on my nerves. lol I get so bloody frustrated when I'm struggling with something, and I can't do it! Then Hubby get's all freaked out 'cause he can't help me and then I'm yelling, and throwing things and swearing my head off and he's crying, and.....lmao! Not really, but close to it!
I really shouldn't be just sitting here posting as my house is a write-off. I should be doing something like, laundry or cleaning, or dishes, or painting, or fixing the leaky plumbing or building a new house, or ...wait, what did i say? ...but I think this may be therapeutic for me...and it'll be cheaper than a psychiatrist. lol Ok, I need a cup of tea.

Have a good (safe) Halloween all!
Good day at work today although lay-offs were discussed but that's to be expected - that time of year and all. We'll see what happens.
I had a gentleman find me in one of the rooms, and he held out his hand which contained money....I guess I had done his room yesterday, and he'd left me a *tip* but I didn't know it was a *tip*. I simply saw some money laying on the counter. Can you imagine if we took all money that we saw laying around? Lol! Anyway, it was very nice of him to find me and make sure I got it. He checked out today, and left yet another tip in his room. Thank you!
It snowed almost all day today. Just lightly, on and off, and so cold! What an odd feeling - snow, and then so dark so early. So depressing! Lol

A Lunchtime Limerick
My lunch I devoured in haste
So fast, I did not taste
I burped and gasped
The napkin I grasped
Too late, for there was my waste!
Don't know why I'm posting this. Guess I want you to see my limitless talent. Lmao!

It's all about money!
It is isn't it? (Hi there! My name is Carol and this is my first post) Everything we do, want, need, see, think about, involves money. You have to have it. I like money as well as the next guy/girl but I don't seem to ever have as much as I need/want. I would like to have more! Lol! So, where to get money? It's not in my wallet, I checked. My bank account? um...nope. Ya know I was thinking....(that certainly hasn't made me any money) but I started thinking anyway that since I am a Room Attendant if, every room I did in a day there was a *tip* left in it, a dollar perhaps, I would then be actually making some real extra money! I work hard and take my job seriously like anybody else and I do a good job. I know the Industry has Gratuities charged but do you really think it goes to all departments or how it's paid out? It's handled differently everywhere so, tip your maid! I can tell you that tipping really says so much, not to mention helps so much. There have been days where the tips have been good, and it's extra cash for gas at the end of the day. A tip tells me that I am appreciated, and I certainly appreciate your appreciation! (I rreeeeeeally do!)
I've just registered at a PTC (Paid to Click) site - ClixSense which is a top trusted site that's been around for awhile and is honest, upfront and fun! You may have heard of them or maybe you're already a member...if not you can see for yourself by clicking ClixSense and registering through this link which helps me out but you can start making some extra money too! Let's all start making some extra money! yeah! It's pretty easy...you click on the available ads, play some games if you want, take surveys if you're into that kind of thing, but remember the more you do, the more you earn, and it looks like you really do earn (not much ofcourse) but it's better than nothing so why not?! What are you waiting for? Go! I'm going right now to see how much I've earned. Woohoo!
